The SNH-P6410BN SmartCam Pro Indoor Wired/WiFi IP Camera from Samsung is a flexible and versatile camera that can be hard-wired to a router or connect wirelessly via WiFi. A 2MP CMOS progressive-scan sensor captures video with up to 1920 x 1080 resolution at 30 fps. Multiple recording options including, motion and audio-detection, continuous, and manual modes let you customize the surveillance and maximize your available memory. Files are saved to an on-board MicroSD/XC slot, and supports cards up to 64GB. To conserve bandwidth and to allow for multiple media streams, the camera uses the highly-efficient H.264 compression.

When coupled with the mobile app, the camera supports full 2-way audio communication with AEC (Acoustic Echo Cancellation) to increase the clarity of the conversation. Use the app, or most Internet browsers, to remotely access the camera for live-view, playback, or adjusting the camera settings. Take a snap-shot or capture a video clip and save them to your device. Choose to have email notifications when alarm events happen, have alarms pushed to your smartphone or tablet, and have images automatically uploaded to a Picasa account.

This camera can be used as a stand-alone surveillance camera, or a baby cam. When used as a baby cam, there are pre-programmed lullabies that can be used to soothe a restless infant.
